Barren hills turned into orchards in Baojing County

The photos taken on January 1, 2023 show the fruit farmers harvesting tangerines at Liwai Village, Qingshuiping Town, Baojing County.
In recent years, the county has restored and developed barren hills and slopes, built high-standard terraced fields with contiguous land, and planted high-quality fruits such as tangerines, pears and kiwifruits. The overgrown barren hills have been transformed into ecological gardens which integrate fruit planting, improved environment and sightseeing.
